    It’s not a 80% gap as the headline states.
    And while EU is lagging in the tech area, having world-leading corporations in your country doesn’t translate to a better standard of living for the citizens if the corporations aren’t taxed properly and the tax money isn’t spent on things that benefit the average citizen.
