Because as far as I can tell, it’s a gimmicky dumpster fire, and I’m pretty sure everything is worse. And my battery life is awful. I looked into rolling the OS back, and apparently it’s not feasible. I may switch back to my iPhone 13 as my daily driver.
I’m not sure if I just wasn’t aware it was available to me prior to IOS26, but the call screening feature is the biggest plus for me. The transcription is not great but at least I can get a sense of who’s the unknown number calling. I’m on a 12 Pro Max.
The other thing is the dark mode display is growing on me. It was disorienting at first but I kinda like it now. It also looks great in Carplay.
Menu items becoming larger feels like I’m in accessibility mode though, and I wish I could make it smaller like before.
