11·3 years agothe thing with trains is they get more inefficient the more tracks there are. Trains are great for connecting a few high spots with high traffic between them, not for everyone’s daily transportation needs.

2214·3 years agoYeah, but no train takes me from my front door to my job/the movies/my vacation place. And my car works even if the state decides to shut down the trains/buses.

It’s the state using the labor of people for its own profit and the profit of its cronies. Capitalism has nothing to do with it.

82·3 years agoYeah, that makes me think that data was just wrong. Every homeless in the area would be dead with those temps and humidities.


Progressive or conservative, everyone was ok with giving the government powers to do this.
