    I was having townhalls, and my constituents turned out to be angry with my policies and decisions. So in order to not have to address their concerns I have decided to either have no meetings, or only meet with people than aren’t mad at me…

    There are other explanations than just rude people if you suddenly get loads of opposition…

    I don’t like Bentz but I’d rather have my rep actually going to work and voting on/drafting legislation than doing town halls. His rationale isn’t unreasonable, town halls are mostly a space for people to show up and vent, elections are the only time that venting actually counts for anything.
