Immigration and Customs and Enforcement officials have claimed since June that assaults on their own officers have climbed sharply, with the White House insisting in a September executive order that attacks are up “more than 1,000 percent.”… An analysis of court records shows about a 25% rise in charges for assault against federal officers through mid-September, compared with the same period a year ago.

    Reporters don’t because the last person who asked “source please” is currently fighting a first amendment violation because their press pass was revoked as a result of even having the audacity to question the commander in chief.

    It’s not worth it to any news organization to put that risk in place because it prevents them from reporting on future items.

    This country is a roaring dumpsterfire.
