I write primarily on my Royal Futura 800, and I’m looking for some recommendations for what could be considered the “all time best portable typewriter ever”. Mechnical or Electrical, under $1500 ideally. What would you folks consider to be the absolute best, by whatever metric? Best typeface, best action, best internals, best ergonomics, etc.

With the prices I paid for my typewriters with that budget you could buy around 50 machines and try them all.
I already have about 5, but there’s so many out there, and it’d be so expensive to buy and restore all of them. I’m hoping to narrow the field down just a touch :D
