A few dozen solo sessions this weekend. Overwhelmingly friendly; sharing tips, trading BPs, taking down larger ARCs and splitting the loot. I bought the game for my kids and was excited to have them experience what I did.
Sadly, 6 team matches, every single one with a toxic group not even trying to chat - straight to KOS and more often that not, deciding to make some asshole comment pre-knockout.
Play the game how you want, I get it, but if humanity was in this situation, wouldn’t we want all humans working together against ARC?
Anyway, that’s my rant and why I’ll be slowly letting this game get dusty in my Steam library. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
this is 100% why I won’t play or even buy games that allow the general population into my sessions. friends only, or single player. I can’t be bothered anymore. anything else is just frustrating or a waste of time even playing.
We’re going to try to get on the same solo server, similar to how we do it with Sea of Thieves. Could provide us some relief and enjoyment.
Crossplay off, NA server, all click join at the same time. We’ll use our private discord server. I’ll let you know how it goes.
update for others, not me. if I can’t password protect my servers i won’t even purchase the game.
I’d love for a way to play with my friends in a more humans vs ARCs way. Unfortunately any team based raids are near 100% PvP all the time. So I play exclusively solo. Still run into random PvPers but its so much more manageable in solo its insane.
So I play other team shooters when I want to play with friends. It’d probably extend ARC’s life for people like me if they fixed that aspect for us.
