If you’re a fan of niche 90’s guitars, you might remember Yamaha’s take on the Telecaster: the Pacifica 102s. They didn’t make many and they’ve got kind of a cult base , making it quite hard to find one.
Well they just announced a revamp on the model with the new Pacifica SC and my wallet is hiding scared in the corner.

    oh my god, this is the first time i see those and i feel like i’ve just fallen in love. i hope the price will be approachable

      There are gonna be two tiers: the “standard plus” (ca1000$) and the “professional” (ca2200$).
      An unfortunately the sunny orange comes only in the more expensive tier…

        oh, i’m just a beginner and for now i’ll stick with my budget squier mustang, because i can’t justify buying a more expensive guitar. but i do hope that they will be easily obtainable in the next years.

          If they sell, it’s likely that Yamaha will launch a more affordable line in the future (like they did with the Revstar). A 400/500$ model hits the market sweet spot, would be a great modding platform and they know it
