That is really an interesting device i have been following a time now.

But it is more a tinkering device that will be possible to use as a phone, that a phone first device.

But it will come with its own OS wich is interesting

Big difference between pre-ordering an iPhone and essentially a Kickstarter situation where pre-orders fund development/manufacture so the product can exist

Yeah, Apple doesn’t need your money to guarantee development and they already know how many phones they’re going to sell.

My partner and I both have Clicks keyboards on RAZR phones, and we have the same complaint: the camera placement stops this from making the phone 100% useable in closed mode.

Heck, I actually broke my inside screen and it took two weeks before I had to replace it since i was able to do everything i use my phone for on the outside (using Bluetooth for calls).

Yeah I get that. But it’s refundable up to the point of shipping, they have shipped hardware before so I think it’s reputable enough to at least trust that I’ll either get the thing or get my money back.

Plus it’s not like some huge company, they probably legitimately need some cash flow from these and the support matters. I wouldn’t preorder a Galaxy phone.

Hey, Clicks gang! I just pre-ordered. Looks interesting! I’m coming from using the Palm Phone, Unihertz Jelly, Light Phone 2, Pixel, iPhone mini, and back to Pixel with YAM Launcher.

I was just considering getting a Light Phone 3 and using it as a communication device.

Ideally, I would like to use a dumb phone 90% of the time and only only pull out my smartphone from a drawer 10% when I go outside. I’m slowly coming around to the idea of maybe trying to manage having 2 different phone numbers.

    I also reserved.

I come from a blackberry key2 as my daily driver, so different aspect ratios are not uncommon for me.

And as the phone is from 2018 and with android 8.1 its time for something new.

But i wont bet it will come out this year, i estimate middle 2027
