I always think of the grey aliens, but slighlty less freaky since these guys are pretty tiny.
I was definitely thinking of something a little more villainous! Not that the owls are villainous, of course. Looking like a tiny villain is actually incredibly cute… Which, in turn, has reminded me of Veigar.
