    New billionaire owner and 2 months later suddenly renovating his orgs arena is being discussed. By misappropriating voter supported initiatives that have nothing to do with the billionaires business? Taxpayer billionaire theft, a real change of pace. Glad to see the new owner spent so much time ingratiating himself to Portland before trying to open her coffers.

    Why is this downvoted? It might be bad or disagreeable news, but it’s worth knowing about.

    Anyways, yeah I disagree with it; wish we’d keep the cash for… you know… climate crisis. We just had wildfires so dangerous the air pollution levels were unheard of. Next year’s going to be a snowpocalypse, earthquake any day, and a pres who isn’t going to step in to help us ‘cause we didn’t vote for him. I’d sooner the cash go to Trimet than the Blazers.
