Bailing out multinational banks with taxpayer funds is not “improving the economy.”
Yeah, I know they “paid us back”… i.e. they returned funds made with interest from that bail out, and returned a significantly smaller (through inflation) amount of money. CLEVER THAT SURE TRICKED ME
Inflation isn’t because of some mysterious unknown cause. This bailout in 2008 is a big part of why.
