The Department of Homeland Security is using a repurposed $55 billion Navy contract to convert warehouses into makeshift jails and plan sprawling tent cities in remote areas.
Take a moment to be blown away by how many people don’t care about this.
Some people do care - they just don’t want smelly immigrant jails in their backyard.
Oh, these aren’t for immigrants.
First they came for the immigrants, dot dot dot.
It’s a rotting shithole country, you expected better ?
Oh not at all. Just pointing out one of the many factors that opened the door for fascism. In the event that people begin looking to the past for answers, this will be here.

I mean they have been ramping up since the hanging chads thing. It made them realize how they could win elections by disenfranchising voters.

It was a projection for the plans they already had - they just didn’t want anyone else to implement them first.
According to a source familiar with the project, “the goal is for the facilities to house as many as 10,000 people each, and are expected to be built in Louisiana, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Utah, and Kansas.”
The 6 states about to have concentration camps.
Welp, atleast they ain’t FEMA camps…

Why would they repurpose a navy contract? Well past time to get moving when this deep in nazi fascism - RESIST
They’re basically using the contract as an umbrella against any potential move by Congress to block more funding.
