It has become undeniable very quickly that the Apache is by far the most effective C-UAS & MUM-T platform on earth and it really isn’t even close. If Europe continues to treat the attack helicopter as an outdated, too expensive adherance to an obsolete warfighting doctrine than Russia will crush Europe as it continues to invest in the Mi-28 and Ka-52 along with foreign partners. It is an obvious product of propaganda and foolishness that has sleepwalked much of the world into believing attack helicopters are less not MORE relevant than they have ever been.

Data was also gathered from mixed loads of XM1225 and M789 rounds fired at both ground and UAS targets.

Initial assessments indicated “highly successful” outcomes, with test officials reporting the XM1225 “meeting all accuracy requirements” and performing effectively against both ground-based and aerial threat.

In my opinion it is fairly obvious Russia considers the attack helicopter the essential tool longterm to fighting a fullscale, drawn out war involving drones of all kinds and is attempting to desperately distract the rest of the world so their decaying military industrial complex isn’t left behind in the dust.
