Every other week there’s a slew of articles talking about how the government just asks nicely and the major Social media platforms (tech companies) just give over and hand the US government the keys to whatever they want. No subpoena. No real legal proceedings. Just “yeah, sure, here’s all the data on user AbominableSnowman43. Hope it helps, FBI”.
