I cannot be the only one with old hardware… The feet on an old HP desktop melted. I now need to remove the residue from a wood shelf, a metal case, and a cotton t-shirt.

Any tips?

Also, check the feet of your oldest systems. Apparently they melt.

    Thank you, I will have to try the wood repair.

    Alcohol is also suggested for cleaning the shirt. It did not go well for me. Standard laundry detergent did not improve the situation. The shirt will be relegated to “not shirt”.
