Thank you so much for all the amazing feedback on my rain comic! Even though I can’t reply to everyone individually, I hope you know I read every last one of your comments (on here and on my social media accounts) and your kind words had me grinning from ear to ear :)

        For some reason, English-speaking folks love to come up with weird words for saying “multiple of an animal” (collective nouns).
        So, for example, instead of saying a group/flock of crows, they might say “a murder of crows”. As in, the dictionary will even tell you to say that.

        And yeah, in the same vein, they don’t typically say “swarm of fish”, but instead a “school of fish”.
        The comic just takes this quirk of language and portrays it literally.
