        For some reason, English-speaking folks love to come up with weird words for saying “multiple of an animal” (collective nouns).
        So, for example, instead of saying a group/flock of crows, they might say “a murder of crows”. As in, the dictionary will even tell you to say that.

        And yeah, in the same vein, they don’t typically say “swarm of fish”, but instead a “school of fish”.
        The comic just takes this quirk of language and portrays it literally.
