Patty approaches Charlie Brown on a tricycle. She exclaims, “Get off that tricycle!” He replies, “But it’s MY tricycle! I’ve been looking forward to riding it…”
He says, “Last night when I went to bed, I could hardly wait for morning to come so I could ride it…that’s the way I am, though.”
He continues, “I like to get out in the sunshine, and peddle around, going up one street and down another, and…”
He sighs as she peddles off on the tricycle.
