fun fact: one of the primary reasons the NRA was started was because of how poorly both sides shot during the civil war.

both protest and protestant come from the same root word. and, I would agree that they do “mean” the same thing… to declare publicly or testify.
the -ant ending just makes it “person who declares publicly”

using lawnchair at the moment. folders work, work profile… works.
the only feature they don’t natively have that I miss from the stock launcher is frequent apps. I could install the plug-in, but I’m about to switch to graphene for the next phone so I’ll probably start from scratch and see how native graphene works.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Those who've switched to Linux in the last year, how is it going?
3·2 months agoI’ve been looking at a new phone myself, and also came to the pixel + graphene solution after doing some research. Best bang for your buck, performance-wise vs any phone capable of alternate OS (even if it is android based).

37·2 months agothe part I think is ironic about the infidel patch is that an infidel is someone accused of disbelief in the primary beliefs of a system/religion… the name fits perfectly since these ass hats obviously do not believe spirit of the Constitution.
The easier explanation is that they had to distill a 200 page novel down to 120 minutes of film and convince people to give them money to make it so they could make those people more money… the irony is thick.
conspiracy theories are fun though!
have you read the book? while visually appealing, the movie did not do the book’s content justice.
major theme is destroying the traditional definition of manliness pushed on us by society… fighting ourselves to become our own boss/master in order to create our own definition of manhood.
I used to have one of these but swapped it out for an Orico because the thermaltake did not operate consistently. no issues with the Orico regardless of OS.
