It’s the kind of shit people who don’t question anything see in a reddit comment and then accept as fact because it confirms racist biases you already have that you’ve not had questioned or self-examined within yourself.

You should question this. You should re-examine this view. You should self-crit. You’re talking about the largest marxist country in the world, where marx is taught in schools and universities, where a marxist-leninist party leads, and where the established ideology of internationalism continues to progress. It’s just so utterly out of touch with what China actually is.

Atlantic Council complaining that the 2014 changes to education(by the coup government ministers) were “under threat” in 2020. This article also points to some laws worth looking at that would have occurred alongside the educational changes. Gives a little more direction for digging.

The reforms that are now in danger began in 2014 with a new Law on Higher Education.

If I recall correctly they moved very very quickly in 2014 to change education. Consider how 8 years lines up basically perfectly with the war, an entire generation raised on a hastily thrown together ultranationalist education right as the war started. The most affected by it will have volunteered immediately at the start and are likely dead now.

My concern would be what they might have timed for 7-8 years after the education systems are changed.

There are people in the UK who know nothing about politics at all and have never ever had anyone sit down and teach them any theory but they will be able to tell you that there’s a working class and a ruling class and who is in each of them with mostly accuracy until you get into petty-bourgeoise elements.
