21·2 years agoI spent my 9/11 learning that insurance aint covering the surgery I need on my tailbone and the only surgeon that will do it will only do it two days before I was supposed to fly to my family for thanksgiving vacation and recovery involves no sitting. So no thxgiving this year, no seeing family, all PTO is going towards recovery, and I’m paying out of pocket (putting in on credit, there’s nothing in the pocket). Oh an no refunds on the flight ticket even with medical emergency. Happy 9/11!

6·2 years agoHis insights are sooooo boilerplate yet he absolutely insists on being some outsider thinker. He literally just sounds like teenaged me after watching a season of Penn & Teller Bullshit.
He writes very beautifully; I wish he did novels.

2·2 years agoYou weren’t supposed to “think” of Al, you were supposed to relate to his frustrations and musings. I’d go insane if I played St. Peter with entertainment media characters. They’re meant to be enjoyed not judged.
