Always try to squeeze in a trip to the House of Trembling Madness when I’m there too - excellent booze shop with a really cool pub upstairs

Call me a luddite but I still hate it unequivocally
No matter how good the output, it’s still using tons of power and water, it’s still taking work away from real artists, it’s still stealing copyrighted content from real artists, LLMs and image convoluters can and never will be creative, just distilled and derivative of everything they’ve been fed in training
And all it took was stealing his son’s blood
There’s a street artist in the UK called Phlegm, your stuff really reminds me of his stuff, love it
See also: Frome, Beauchief, Alnwick, and basically anywhere in Wales

Very casual and very UK, well done /s
Maybe you’d better find somewhere else to post this?
I always loved the line “such a shame how he carried on”
Just sounds like a disappointed grandmother talking about her wayward grandson

I only have one machine, so I wanna be confident it’ll work before messing around with new OSes

Yeah maybe this is the push to finally learn freecad!

If anyone has experience in running Fusion 360 on wine plz shout up, that’s the last thing I need to work out before switching to Zorin…

In an old job I worked a compressed 5 over 4 and loved it - managed to talk my way into getting Wednesday as the day off and it was so nice to never have to work for more than 2 days in a row with a little mini weekend in between
Working 8-6 every day did suck a bit, but I mostly got the first & last hour to myself as nobody else was doing the same shift
Would recommend if your work pattern allows it

No tutorial I’m afraid, just several years experience and a homebuilt CNC machine

Nothing at the moment, had a flurry of orders before Christmas but now everyone’s got no money 😂
It’s a fake one, I think from ikea - the wick dial is the on/off switch, it’s cute
Already full of all the extra board games that don’t fit elsewhere
Just think how happy the ancient god will be though, they’ve not had anyone bound to them in thousands of years, it’s nice to not be forgotten about
UK too, shoes off too, have never lived anywhere where shoes on indoors was a common thing
The only reason I can think is that underfloor heating is relatively rare here and if you’ve got hard floors it’ll be cold to walk on, but then slippers exist so idk really
