Depends. Lots of shit doctors out there who don’t care avout their patient. I’ve seen guys go to a doctor with a problem, only to be barely checked, if at all, and sent home with an unhelpful prescription or advice.

Plus gender-epecific conditions are poorly taught in med school, or to the wider public in general. Most members of the opposite sex rarely know about conditions affecting the other, or even their own. As a guy, I’ve learned about Endomitriosis because of youtube. But also I’ve learned that men have much worse symptoms with viruses than women, from a TV show.

Thankfully there are many doctors who take their job very seriously, but it seems they are hard to come by, especially in the US.

An actor’s popularity is dependent on if they have a major role in popular movies, a large social media presence, or things like that. Many people don’t exactly care about quality in movies, or the actors ability to act.

There are some great actors we probably never heard of, because they are cast in minor roles, or in movies barely anyone knows about.

Actors get paid based on their popularity, or said differently, you get paid shit if you are not known by millions. You can be the worst actor and get paid millions, while the best actor of the century gets paid minimum wage because noone knows about him.

In ending their life should we be causing them pain? Huge debate, but the main reason we use lethal injection or gas executions instead now is to end their life without pain or torture. Ideally a person would just be turned off like a light without them even noticing.

Interestingly enough, because of certain happenings, these methods are often poorly prepared by a layman after a quick google search and mostly made to look like a quick death, with the person often suffering even for half an hour. We already have a solution. It’s called a guillotine. After 4 seconds the person is all gone, but it’s a messy death for any onlookers, so it’s not used.

So the AI provided factual information and they did not like that because ‘slavery bad, therefore there was no benefit to it.’ There were benefits to slavery, mainly for the owners. US had a huge cotton export at one point, with the fields being worked by slaves.

But also a very few slaves did benefit, like being able to work a job that taught them very useful skills, which let them buy their own freedom, as they were able to earn money from it. Unfortunately the death penalty is currently not about killing the criminal, but a good-looking death. Basically it does not matter if the person suffers for an hour, as long as it is not visible.

From hanging, electrocution, to gassing (yes, US did that at one point) and lethal injections, the method was always slow and painful.

With the lethal injections one, most chemicals were banned for it, so they are poorly researched by laymans, not as functional and literally made so the person is paralyzed, while they still can feel everything and can painfully be dying for half an hour.

Unfortunately I have to confirm. I’ve seen a fair share of people that have knowledge that stops at chemicals/radiation=danger to your health.

Political extremism has been on the rise for more than a decade. Especially with the help of the internet, radicalization has been getting easier and easier. You just need a reasonable-sounding speaker and before you realize, you are far gone.

Both sides in the US have been getting more and more extreme, pulling away from the middle One side will openly talk about their extreme ideologies, which attracts many with the same beliefs. The other side hides behind compassion and helping people, only to stab you in the back when it’s too late to run.

I am sure the 2-party system does not help. You are forced to either vote bad guy n.1 or slightly less bad guy n.2. With no other option, it will not take long before you end up listening to your new side and well…you know what happens next. With no space for a more reasonable side to enter, everyone gets radicalized and then a third side becomes a solution no more.

Hope the government falls and is rebuilt, before it all turns into another herrible page of history.

I believe it is unconfirmed if it actually happened. Liston was not exactly popular among the other surgeons, so it’s likely they made up the story to hurt his reputation. He was really good at what he did.

You either seem to have people who just care about themselves and their comfort and beliefs only, or people who pretend to care about others, only to satisfy their ego and beliefs in the process, sometimes at the expense of the group they pretend to care about.

We had those types of tests but as to what type of secondary school you would fit in. I of course did not take that test, because I already had a plan. And those who did, ignored it anyway. Not sure what is worse. These job tests, or what people use as a reason for their decision, or the lack of one. Studying computer network technics, two in my class were actually interested in computers. The rest: ,Well, I play videogames, so I figured I could do well here."

A European here. Aside from going in the right direction, I have a question: Don’t the rich already pay most of their earnings as taxes? So the problem is not that they are not getting taxed, but rather that they avoid paying them through loopholes? Or is that a billionaire problem?

Not really. Unless you drank straight from the river after derailment or stayed during cleanup, there is no way anyone will have problems because of it. Unlike radiation, chemicals, after being heavily diluted, become harmless within days.

It’s like if you poured out a bottle of bleach in your garden. You won’t worry about the tomatoes becoming poisonous when you pick them the next year.

Fairly balanced. She makes fun of both extremes and seems to have opinions from both sides, as well as covering topics from them. While she does cover far-left more than far-right, there does not seem to have a problematic bias towards one side.

Of course a lot of leftists call her far-right, but that seems to be painfully common with all centre-leaning political youtubers. Turns out if you are far-left, anything from centre to right will seem far-right to you.

Anyway, if you are interested in her, she is not as serious with most of her content, so you’ll probably stay for the humor, or balanced takes. As most political youtubers of her type, she is perfect to watch in terms of things both sides have completely different opinions on.
