I guess this is a dumb request, but since everyone else is airing their grievances I’d like to profess mine. Way back during the rail worker strike I had a couple comments deleted for being reactionary by the mod team. I thought that was unfair and would like those comments undeleted or any strike against me removed or whatever. I expressed my experiences as a tradesmen in a union and my assessment that workers in the West can sometimes consider themselves labor aristocrats. I know it’s the stupidest little thing, but yeah mods and admins can be morons sometimes.

I’ve been reading both Settlers and Wretched of the Earth since last week and it jokerfied me. Now that the election has passed I keep thinking about the US calling Venezuelans election illegitimate a couple months ago meanwhile my ballot has still not been counted.

I remember when the defederations were going on and someone defended Hexbears with the statement, “Hexbears is not a communist org meeting, it’s the bar all the communists go to after the meeting”. That has always been and will always be my relation to this site. I have a local org that I can go do my serious work and share in how we improve society. I’m here for shit posting and mild socializing.

There will be a recession starting sometime between the end of 2026 to beginning of 2028. Probably goes on for a couple years just like 2008. Trump will blame communists and Americans will idiotically agree and bail out the banks again.

I really thought the race would be closer. I’m surprised that 15 million voters just didn’t show up for Kamala 4 years later. That’s like losing half of the voting blocks Pew Research define as outsider and progressive left. Absolutely abysmal campaign by the Democrats, and that’s pretty cool that many folks decided not to endorse their bullshit.

Trump will have essentially had three terms. Brandon spent four years doing nothing for the left. His only accomplishments were one justice appointment and some bullshit bills full of pork projects.

Our local org brought in a guy at the annual dinner who tried shaming us all to vote for Joe Biden. Absolute fucking miss of a public speaker booking, it was so embarrassing listening to this guy when we all know even sleepy Joe could win NY by 10 points.

Biden, Lieberman and Moynihan were all more than happy to defy the party line for their own interests. Dan Moynihan was particularly shitty about abortion rights, he accused women abortion activists of being bad for the party image.

My Nephew’s favorite thing is Minecraft. It seems like the easiest way to make a huge profit is getting the attention of children. They will beg their parents for the treats and the parents will oblige.

Similar thing happened to me during the great recession. My older brothers already had their degrees and just started working when it hit. Their employers laid off the high earning boomers and promoted them without raises. I was still in college and the job placement metrics at my school were abysmal by the time I was getting close to finishing. It’s such bullshit because nearly everyone who benefitted by this phenomenon denies it.

The swing states all have a lot of fuckery at the local level and it will take a couple days before we know who is the true winner. SCOTUS will try to intervene but the lower courts will get ahead of them to ensure the states wrap up the counting. Harris probably wins, but the chuds will be frothing at the mouth. I’m setting the over/under for how many get shot dead by the authorities at 3.5.

Isn’t that more like 20 years ago at this point? 2004 Kerry lost to Bush but the Democrats started taking back the house and Senate. Then it culminates in '08 with Obama’s near blowout and folks started that, “the GOP is no more” celebration. By 2014 the GOP was back and trying to repeal the ACA every week.

In the month of October, Trump has drilled down on his campaign message to round up and kill liberals while Kamala has been forgiving Israel for the most heinous crimes to occur with in my lifetime. Trump gained 5 points in polling amongst suburban white women in that time. Truly scared of the bloodlust amongst most Americans.

I love your posts because they remind me of the Minnesota Timberwolves and my own Siberian Husky. They also provide me motivation to continue to make this wretched place just a little bit better. NY needs to reintroduce Wolves like MN and CO have done.
