From checking the instructions on fitgirl, the extra steps are really not good (for whether it works on linux) because the more weird stuff you need to do with the repack to get them working on Windows, means there’s even more ways for this to then break on Linux.

Definitely something you could try to get working. Best of luck with it!

Also if it is a bit of a struggle to get working or not, I hope you don’t give up on trying Linux. It really is a great operating system and the vast majority of games do run. Just so happens these types of anti cheat shooters are built to block Linux

Specifically answering the COD part, if you mean any of the new Call of Duty’s - almost certainly not. They will simply not work on Linux.

Aw shit, this sucks because my company uses this authentication method.

One possible workaround is to add more options to your security info in your work account. For example, I added my number and also a specific password as an option last year when I moved onto Graphene and had to update that info. Would that be an option?

Unsure if that would even work or if those options are more for account recovery (when no longer have access to a specific device)

It really depends on the banking app, for example mine used google play store to download but doesnt need it to run at all (updates happen from it though). So i can run it on my main profile with GPS (google play store) disabled.

Protip - Download something like the Shelter app so you can set up a Work profile space and install the apps that need GPS to run n then this can be the space where you have these apps. Shelter has a really handy feature that lets you get notifications from these apps when on another profile n can send files between. Best of all you can pause the work space, basically stops all apps.

At the start i had quite a few GPS apps here but I’ve slowly using less n less. At the moment there are three apps there that I need for work but only rarely so really need to unpause that space like 2% of the time.

P.S - try and ensure the apps on your main profile are not downloaded from GPS/Aurora Store. You can check the app info to see which store you downloaded them from. If you can, get them from other stores (others have given good tips on those already) or their own websites/githubs. Basically want to have zero connected apps n can disable google play store n services on your main profile.

I am with ya. I completed it first time, took a while to get used to, very flawed game but did enjoy it. Basically became very powerful (fed on everybody lol).

On a replay trying to be ‘good’, it just annoys me that so much fun is taken away from you and it makes a tedious game excruciatingly tedious. Like i get it, making your choice to be good have consequences and you live with them. But that choice also directly stands in the way of fun. Dropped that playthrough after couple hrs.

Still would recommend for 90% off though.

How weird is it that there aren’t more good vampire games? Like hasn’t been a single ‘great’ game since Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines and even then, that was a pretty terribly made game. Unofficial patches and mods made that great! Seems to be such a gap in the market.

I think Vampyr comes with some serious jank, similar to VtMB before it, although doesn’t come close to its grestness, unfortunately.
