Just try it and see if it works for you.
I’ve found one or two 20h fasts per week very effective at shedding fat without losing too much muscle mass. Much less effort than counting macros every day.

I think for most stuff in supermarkets it would fit just fine. They would just have to compromise on space dedicated to branding, and that is part of the point.
Much like cigarettes, sugar laden, processed, food like products deserve to be in plain packaging too.

Is our population really dumb enough to believe this walking cesspit?
The party who kicked off the housing crisis under Howard by: Bringing in the CGT discount. Ramping up immigration to then record levels. Handing out first home buyers grants.
Is now somehow going to unfuck things? Ha! Their donors will not allow it.
My prediction is he will look at allowing first home buyers to use their super for housing. All the while repeating lies that he is helping address affordability.

Fuck star rating systems. Every single one we have in this country has been corrupted by letting industry contribute to the rules.
I would rather see a minimum font size for the ingredients list and nutritional info panels. The ingredients list can also state percentages and country of origin for each too. Also no other text font on the packaging may be larger than the ingredients list.

Supermarkets have already perfected the art of selling perfect looking tomatoes with absolutely zero taste.
Home grown or nothing.
Don’t stop with that. I’m early 40s, number of people I know have been diagnosed with fucked up things like cancers.
Happily every after retirements are not in everyone’s future. Live while you can.
By living my best life now while I can.
Collapse, a world war, apocalypse etc? Fuck that I’m out.

Can’t harvest your data when shut down? They have fixed that problem!

I’m surprised there isn’t a widely adopted abbreviation yet.
LMTU?

And they deleted the data right?
Right?
Narrator: they did not.
I stayed home, not by choice. Got the unwelcome xmas gift of covid.

I have an inkling that there will be rumblings in the future from within govt here about outlawing things like Graphene OS and signal.

I have a mastodon account. Be lucky if I fired it up once a week. That’s a lot more than I ever used twatter/x. That I opened maybe 5 times when it first started. The super short form stuff just not my thing.
Mostly just to look at mastodon followed hashtags of photography. When I first got it I straight away put filters on stuff I wasn’t interested in before figuring out how to look at only followed hashtags.

So I’m forced to use windows at work like the majority of my industry.
The start bar is still a thorn in my side since we switched from 10 to 11.
Standard office set up is 2 x 1920x1200 monitors and a 1920x1080 laptop. Some just leave the laptop shut when docked.
I preferred having it on a stand and using the lap top screen real estate.
In windows 10 I could make a monitor the primary and have a start bar only on the laptop. Not being able to do that in windows 11 is fucking annoying. They also fucked up auto hide start bar, it’s always jumping up for bullshit I don’t care about and not hiding when it should. I gave in and accepted I can’t have those bottom few lines of screen real estate because they are Microsoft’s.
As an engineer I do sometimes get feelings of imposter syndrome. But then I look at what Microsoft did to the start bar in windows 11 and think well at least I didn’t do that.

You would hope they have more empathy than the ones who remove the R from their sticker.

Currently I think it’s the other way around. Before you are allowed to own one you sign a contract saying you will at every opportunity drive millimetres from the bumper of the car in front.

It just goes to show how out of touch politicians are.
As a parent of two primary schoolers. (Yeah yeah cliché qualifier) Things I’m more concerned about than social media:

As an Australian, it’s Irish accents that I struggle with the most.
Scottish I can deal with, probably from watching shows like Still Game and Burnistoun.
Most other UK accents are not to difficult to understand.
One odd thing, I was watching an USA wildlife documentary that was set in South Africa. I noticed they put forced subtitles on when ever the South African’s spoke in English. I found that bizarre as I’ve never had any trouble understanding when South Africans speak English.
