IIRC this is a class divide indicator. The fact that class maps well onto geography is just correlation.
Middle class has breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Working class has breakfast, dinner, and tea.
Supper is an outlier and definitely more unusual. In my experience it usually indicates a smaller evening meal.
It’s interesting how simulators do tend to draw in people who also do the same thing as their IRL job.

My M3 Air spends most of its time plugged in, and I often see the charge indicator at 80% with the text ‘Charging on Hold (Rarely Used on Battery)’.
Been using it daily with that turned on for 2 years and still at 100% battery health.
