Wow, I had no idea this is what it’s from! It took a few minutes for me to get the exact frame, but when I did, it was obvious. Thanks!

News@lemmy.world•Pet wolf hybrid attacks, kills 3-month old baby in AlabamaEnglish
14·2 years agoThat’s the problem, this wasn’t a dog. This was a dog/wolf hybrid, which is more aggressive than a normal dog. That’s one reason why this is national news. The article also says that there were more children in the home too, so the owner should be charged with multiple charges of child endangerment as well as manslaughter in the death of the baby.
This isn’t just a dog attack story.
Musk must have come up with the idea. Wait, there’s no $4.20 option, so maybe not.
While I like the sentiment, in reality I think it would do the same thing as it’s doing on Reddit - turn Lemmy into a huge bot farm trying to get money from real users.
Okay, that makes sense. Maybe it’s the Mandela Effect, but I swear I remember a cartoon where Bugs says “No” similar to how he’s shown in the still. Maybe not (?).
This is off topic, but why isn’t there an animated gif of Bugs Bunny saying the “NO”? I mean, we have animated gifs for almost everything else, but I only see this as a static pic. Can no one find the cartoon that this is from and create a gif from it?

2·2 years agoThat works a lot better! Thanks for the great work!
EDIT: Not to be greedy, but any chance you can add one more text size and go one notch bigger (especially for comments, which have a smaller text size than the post titles)?

1·2 years agoYep, it seems that you added some black space at the top, and that got the job done.
One request - any chance you can increase and/or make a setting for comment text size? It’s much smaller than all the other text and hard to read for my old(er) eyes. I can use the zoom on Safari to increase the page size before saving it as a PWA, but that makes the text run off the right side of the page, requiring me to scroll back and forth to read comments.

5·2 years agoI can add it to my home screen, but I’m unable to log in. The three lines that I need to tap are behind the battery and signal display at the top of the page. It works on Safari, but not as a PWA. https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/a8681c21-9f68-48da-8fe3-8a4e45c24107.jpeg

1·2 years agoThanks for all the replies and the help. I updated the original post at the top with the solution to the problem. I now know why I can’t see the nfl.community posts & comments, and I’m not really sure I want to any more, since it’s not actual posts from Lemmy users, but just Reddit scrapes (like you said).

1·2 years agoYeah, I think the limit is 100K for images, which causes a problem sometimes.

1·2 years agoThanks for the offer, but I’ve got an alt on lemm.ee that I set up when I first moved to Lemmy, and World was getting slammed with DDOS attacks. All the posts show up when I’m logged in on that account, so I may just move back over there. I’ve got LASIM to sync my subscriptions, so there’s that.

There are very few Far Side cartoons that I can this about, but…
