That’s excellent - I’ll be using this to help bridge my gap over to FreeCAD

I’ve tried it briefly, I found a lot of friction with trying to adjust to its UI. Maybe it was the order I did things in but when attempting a parametric design - following the same steps as my F360 timeline - FreeCAD just threw errors.
I still need to give it another try and learn the quirks and layout a little better. I haven’t needed to design things lately but when I do I’ll spend some more time with it.
I wonder why the numbers have plateaued for Texas and New Mexico

Programming@programming.dev•What's the weirdest bug in a program you found in a project you didn't write?
10·4 个月前Notepad on windows, I think around the XP and earlier versions, had a similar bug. If you typed
this app can breakand saved it, the file would be corrupted. Something to do with the number and placement of characters.
For learning about economic & financial concepts and how they impact the world check out the NPR podcast Planet Money. It’s free, episodes aren’t too long, and they cover some really interesting stories that involve businesses, supply chains, government policy, etc. a fun episode is #862: Big Government Cheese
Willing to bet a lot of companies will be considering that now lol. Will it actually happen though? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1·11 个月前Same here, for some reason my covid hobby was learning a new keyboard layout and while I now prefer using Dvorak, my attempts at remapping key bindings like cut/copy/paste on linux has has been unreliable at best, and then switching between Dvorak and QWERTY for games that don’t support layout-agnostic controls usually doesn’t even register (at least on the steam deck it doesn’t seem to)
If you wait till the last minute… then it only takes a minute.

9·1 年前Line drying makes your clothes last longer too. I do that with all my jeans, towels, hoodies, etc. Basically only use the dryer for cotton socks, underwear, and tshirts.

I’ve been using yay and cachy-update, which seem to handle basic package management well for me so far. Do you have a favorite?
