  • Have absolutely no idea what’s up with the drama and can’t be bothered, but always good to see a comrade return to the fold (of online chill or maybe extremely not chill sometimes community? Idk welcome back to hell, we have cookies and I def belong here)

Also low-key (advice to peeps but not talking shit on anyone in specific) in some ways being a leftist space with effort as a constant will take a toll or rather probs shouldn’t be anyones main social life or even main online social life. This is the (akin to org hell if I know) space I suppose is what I’m saying, also pushing for my idea (don’t build around me I suck as a person and have major inertia issues often and not reliable) of a hexbear-grad vetted third space

  • Lets be real, a lot of these people are just sick in the head qnd desperately need help they probably cant afford

Agreed, and alongside a whole host of other issues the most glaring ones are a colonial mentality/indoctrination, many over their whole life and even perhaps generations back. In truth as a PoC who came from a very mentally colonized family, a large chunk of PoC (of all communities) in the west, as well as across the world, also could use some serious help in this regard too.

The medicine/healthcare they need is re-education, basically psychiatric help. Whether they will or can get it is another matter, and the extent of damage they will do in the meantime is immense.

  • I’m actually… Kind of glad to be around to see this utter dumpster fire of a trainwreck? Is this what hope (no shortage of hope tbf) shadenfreude feels like??

If the empire can go down in as pathetic and ridiculous of a spiral (with as little human suffering involved) all the better if you ask me. Still hate everyone involved (because they’re ghouls no one should support) but I almost feel I’m… becoming halfways hopeful of Elon (not as a person, but as a dumpster fire to be watched from afar while holding ones’ nose) seeing this absolute bullshit? If his narcissist-divorcee online malding leads to the death of NATO this will be priceless.

If you ask me, if the empire can go in as humiliating a way as possible, that even those reactionaries looking to the ““good old”” (shit-coated) days of empire cannot do so with a straight face- that every bit of imperialist vanity is uprooted and demolished right down to even its origins - well that’ll be pretty sweet. Though then, maybe I also just have issues (it’s definitely at least partly the latter, i exist even irl at least partially in a state of shitpost/semi-ironic nonsense brain humor)

  • FWIW- I’m not an accelerationist, and don’t really have any good reading to direct you to in that regard.

That said, to my understanding accelerationism is explicitly pushing to agitate/worsen the material conditions and contradictions of capitalism. And how Trump comes off as “less accelerationist” to me (IMO) is because- for the reasons I described- he is faced with more political resistance, from within the US as well as across the rest of the imperial cores. As for the bit about him being less of a warhawk- well, that goes without saying (that it is undeniably less accelerationist).

  • They’re all accelerationist, TBF. Not a single one seeks to change the issues inherent in the system, hell, they all make their living off of exacerbating it.

Trump being a perfect example of a vile human being, incredibly alienating to the rest of the western lackeys, and seeming to have a bit more self-preservation and less interest in plunging the world into WW3 goes a long way in being “less accelerationist,” that said (IMO). Not that anyone should support either.

  • Honestly, hell if I know who would have been more accelerationist (I’d have bet on it being Kamala). Whomever wins things would get worse for the empire either way (not saying it shouldn’t be fought or promoting defeatism- but the contradictions will continue to grow), but Kamala strikes me as the more neocon/hawkish of the two, with much more political baggage tagging along that is even worse, and as a more palatable (low bar) face with which the empire could absolutely wreak havoc on the rest of the world and even domestically on its own people with better PR/a more unified western imperialist order, etc.
