Replaying Rogue Trader now half the DLC is out, occasionally with my best friend as they added a coop mode at some point. RPing a reformed crime lord who has seen the light of the Imperial Truth and dedicated himself to spreading the Emperor’s word while my friend goblins around with all the crim characters looting everything and occasionally triggering a fight when I’m halfway across the map.
It’s being done because otherwise there’s no way for the government to reimprison them, which makes them look weak on terrorism after the furore they’ve already created about PA. They’ve already spent two years in prison pretrial, which counts triple towards a future prison sentence if they’re found guilty. None of them can actually be put away for more than 6 years even if they’re found guilty, so unless the government finds a way to increase the sentencing every single activist will walk free from court regardless of the result.

This is my take on a lot of Linux distros nowadays. Give them Ubuntu or Fedora KDE and a windows skin and most people won’t realise anything’s changed.

Miniature painting: True metallic Vs non metallic metal.
Should you paint the metal parts of your minis in metallic paint (containing small amounts of pica and/or aluminium to give it a reflective shimmer), or is it better to use non metallic paints and paint the shimmer and reflections to give the illusion of being metallic?
Personally I prefer TMM, because it’s basically the same techniques but if you fuck it up a bit it doesn’t end up looking terrible like NMM, and while NMM looks great in photos I find TMM looks better in real life, which is where I enjoy my minis. NMM definitely requires more skill, but I don’t think the results are worth it unless you’re entering competitions.
