TST is helpful and I hope they keep fighting for everyone’s right to religious pluralism, long after these two have retired.

Yes but after a while you may start to yearn for some rarer things as well. There’s still lots of pre-lost media out there on rotting dvds waiting for custodianship that I haven’t been able to find online. There’s also some newer HD rereleases having single channel and lower quality or something, so finding the original dvds is better sometimes.

They’re heavier and had more non-tailpipe emissions, so they kill salmon with tire dust, which is a concern if you live near wild salmon.
Microslop is still hosting for Israel, even more than before. Don’t believe Brad Smiths recent lies about their data centers being healthy for communities either.
This is completely false.
The difficulty is in correctly determining death, not that death has occurred and then was reversed. One of the causes is even “missing weak vital signs”, so the error is human.
1·1 month ago100% right decision to get a secondary phone if you have to do this, IMO. It may not break at the same time, you can leave it somewhere and still use your main phone, your phone decisions are separate from your work considerations. Some new secondary phones look really cool also, like the one with the BlackBerry keyboard.
1·1 month agoWe are alike friend, and yes it it’s bad in all cars manufactured after 2012, but that’s ok. EVs have more weight and tire particulate pollution which kills the salmon up here, so I think EVs exist only to save the auto industry, not the planet. Buying new cars kills the planet.
It’s actually cheaper to get an older car with cash and have great mechanics, compared to getting any car loan on a new car. I have a 2000s car that I’ve “totaled” twice, but the damage was minimal, and I came out of the repairs with more cash from insurance than what the repairs cost.
2nd gen Honda CRV, doesn’t have to weak CVT transmission with the dumb belt, great cargo, and good gas mileage. Transmission and engine replacements would be big and are less than $10k. Toyota matrix also great.
If they externalize costs to the community, and property damage is “violence”, then these are WMDs. I’d make sure your affairs are in order while working at one.
IMO, Satya isn’t the same anymore. His disabled child died, and he gave a speech about pushing forward to investors at the time but no longer cares about accessibility. Now, he’s got ai-induced psychosis so he doesn’t care about azure, office, Xbox, linkedin, GitHub, etc. Unless it has Copilot in it, because he’s invested in openAI.

1·1 month agoUBI will be very easy to accept once we’re forced to give up more privacy and biometric data for it, so once it’s a trap.
Other countries are actually investigating them, and there have been recent consequences in other countries for the current releases.
