At least they get trains with their authoritarianism

I have no idea who is actually responsible, but somebody had to be the fall guy

I meant that Tesla recently popularized the term “Frunk” and made it more widespread with EV buyers.
I don’t want to take anything away from Beetles and 911s.

Front trunk
I think Tesla popularized it

Hopefully Jared Isaacman can make that rejected project a reality now that he’s NASA administrator?

I’m conflicted on it. I think if Starliner or Dragon had those heat shield problems, there would absolutely be another test flight to check the fixes. It’s also surprising that the ECLSS didn’t fly on Artemis 1, but at least they’ll have the checkout time in Earth orbit for that. Northrop’s issues with Vulcan SRBs lately also don’t help.
On the other hand, if the astronaut test pilots understand the risks (way more than me) and still want to go, why would us armchair engineers tell them no?

I’m hoping for the best on the Alpha return to flight. They really need the block 2 upgrades to succeed.

I love the origami folding structures in the concept art.

March might be off the table now. They can’t catch a break.

Let’s go!
The launch times look a lot better this time around. 8:30pm eastern is so much easier to watch than something in the middle of the night.

Inside you there are two wolves
We should be excited about Artemis 2. And want the program to do better.

Good stuff! That means we might only be 2 weeks away from Artemis 2.

The fact that they all talked about doing better thruster doghouse testing for years and didn’t… Cancel the program and lay off everyone involved. What a clown show.

Yeah, “prove that it isn’t safe” is such an ass backwards approach. Anyone who said that doesn’t belong anywhere near human spaceflight.

If anything they should get a bill for the extra energy infrastructure
Fridge cleaning tacos are great. I just made tacos with leftover grilled chicken, what was left of a red onion, a jalapeño that was starting to wrinkle, and some jarred tikka masala sauce.

Germany, Spain, and Australia are all really close. I bet two of them will make orbit this year. I won’t even try to predict anything about the others.

Using a rocket as an excavator 🌌🧠
Watching chunks of concrete get hurled in every direction during IFT-1 was insane. That whole flight was. Engines cutting out. FTS not taking it out. Spinning out of control.
ULA isn’t making their existence as a company any easier.
This is another chance for new competitors to catch up to them.
