Seriously, wtf is their problem? I’ve been very happy with their VPN support on Linux. Clearly Drive is a whole different animal. SpiderOak has had their Hive integration with Linux for many many years. Still works now. WTF Proton? Why wouldn’t Linux integration be a priority for a company that claims to be all about privacy and security?

It seems like the majority is so convinced of the “intelligence” that they allow these LLMs full control over their phones, computers, appliances, vehicles and homes. WTF. FUBAR. I feel ya. It is a lot of details. Some details are more important than others. The very demanding guides out there are maximizers. Not all of that is absolutely necessary, especially if you’re growing a faster species like Golden Teachers. Basically every mushroom grow is a race against contamination. Every batch will eventually show contamination. The better the methodology you use, the more time you get until contamination. Practicing and experimenting with your methodology will reveal what steps are important for your situation and species. There are many ways to manage contamination and each guide is just one way to do it.

I say, give it a go and do what you can to inoculate in a sanitary environment. I’ve had some luck with those pouches without a perfect SAB. Maybe 50/50 and it depends a lot on the strain you’re using. I’ve had better luck with inoculating straight to BRF cakes.

Appears that you have hit some groundwater and that makes sense. Looks like the top of the concrete footings are showing. Rainwater or groundwater does seep under the footings. Depending on how much water there is, I would consider a sump pit to remove it.

I tend to agree with that. But with the way customer service is going these days, its still a gamble. I like longer warranties if only because it seems like the manufacturer has some confidence in what they produced

If your roof is not shaded by trees, a light colored roof makes a huge difference. This can be accomplished a number of ways. Replacing your roofing material with a lighter color is ideal but expensive. Coating it with something like Henry Tropi-cool is durable but the product is also a little pricey. The absolute budget way to do this on an asphalt shingled roof is with a slurry of masonry lime. I’ve experimented with all of these methods and the results are dramatic. In my case the coating paid for itself within one season and made the house noticeably more comfortable.
