I don’t know when it happened, but at some point I started giving off the vibe of “you should give this guy your old/unused tech.” I’m not complaining.

I am also using KeepassDX and Nextcloud. I’ve had this setup for years and never had an issue with syncing.

I was buying for a community event that I ran. I did the math the first year that we did it. Buying the hotdogs, buns, hotdog wraps, and waters separately from Costco was going to cost me around half of getting them directly from the cafe.

Not worrying about running a grill… starting the event with dinner already cooked and ready to go… Absolutely worth the markup.

The most I’ve ever bought at one time was 300.

I would be concerned if he became more productive and effective at implementing their agenda.

Back in 2020, those of us who had been using the OnlyOffice community document server were greeted with a notification stating that mobile editing was no longer supported and that we’d have to buy their commercial product.

Some folks quickly figured out a patch. Others, like myself, left with a bad taste in our mouths.

I’ve got NixOS running on a 32 GB netbook from 2016. It’s really bare bones and I only keep one or two generations to roll back to if needed.
