I could be completely wrong here, but it looks like the chart is comparing companies that go into debt to get started, and then make back that profit once their service/product is out there. OpenAI presumably has made zero profit yet, so they’ve only accomplished going $218B in debt.

The comments give some great advice on what to self host, but my advice to you before you start spinning up a million services is to DOCUMENT EVERYTHING.

Seriously, document as you go and you will thank yourself later. Document niche commands you found online that worked, docker compose files, IP addresses/hostnames, where you put that random config file.

There are some great self hosted wiki and documentation products out there, start with that, then build the fun stuff!

This game was my SHIT back in high school. One of our computer classes had the coolest teacher who would let all 12 of us play LAN multiplayer for the last half hour of class.

I remember figuring out how to mod Halo, and did some absolutely silly stuff with it, like making a sniper rifle that would immediately put a sticky grenade on wherever you clicked lol.

Getting enough fiber! Like most Americans, I don’t get enough fiber in my normal diet (trying to change that as well), so I’ve been supplementing it with Metamucil crackers.

When I say it makes a DIFFERENCE in the bathroom, I’m not kidding.

I didn’t get mine till 18, even though I went through my schools driving program at 16.

Its nothing to be embarrassed about! I literally didn’t know that vehicles would slowly move themselves when in drive until the first time I got behind the wheel in the driving school lol.
