Great, I’ll let the people in the line outside the food bank know that things are actually pretty sweet right now.
You deserve a lot more credit for this pun.
And this was the stuff he got published. I’d dread to read his drafts and unreleased material from that era.

Anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com•[Discussion] What was your political position before you became an anarchist?
1·3 days agoExactly. If the system is going ‘here is a line-up of absolute fucking clowns who are in it for themselves, choose one’ then how can people call it democracy? Financially-incentivised politicians are literally killing people in pursuit of money and this is somehow the best system we’ve got?
Sorry for teenager-like rant, but it really gets my goat.

4·3 days agoI was all over the shop. Far left, massively pro-lgbt, anti-gov, anti-authoritarian… but then people on far left started telling me I was obligated to support their chosen politicians and I felt some sort of resentment. I read Colin Ward and I realised that I was an anarchist.
Yup, because nobody is perfect. Everybody fucks up, thats just life.
Totally, yeah. Just wanted to highlight how long ago that whole debacle was and how old it makes me feel :(

This is so good, I’d love to see a series of tarots like this. Cool to make it upside down as an exyra detail too.
The patent went through in 2021.

Joining the local boxing club was huge for my self-confidence and mental wellbeing. My family suffered a long string of challenges (passing of my mother, another family member with a lot of learning difficulties) and boxing gave me the focus and drive to face everything head-on. If anyone is reading this and thinking about it, I’d encourage it.

Again, not reading but I genuinely wish you well.

The TV adaptation of Preacher. The comics were more like a western but with a dark sense of humour that popped up when the moment called for it. The tv show was ‘wow, this is so wacky and wild!’ I get the impression Seth Rogan liked the comics but didn’t actually understand them at all.
