Ironically the idea of an alternate 2016 where Jeb! won the election is why I’ve used variations of the Jeb! username across platforms. Not saying Jeb! is any good, but lesser of two evils and all.

They might speak another language where it’s a cognate. In German the word for developments is Entwicklungen

I grabbed the last version of Nova before they were acquired (8.0.1 beta) and have been using it ever since. No tracking, unsure if they have a workaround for navigation gestures but they seem reasonably smooth, still plenty of features, and still very snappy

The bee comment may have been a combination of two facts that get tossed around a lot:

Store bought blueberry muffins often use figs dyed blue

Figs often contain traces of bees that are difficult to remove
