Yeah, the thing that bothers me about GNOME isn’t the design, that’s not for me but whatever, it’s the attitude the project takes to collaboration and refusing to compromise on anything that would be useful for literally every other desktop in stuff like Wayland protocols

Yes, but raw and pasteurized milk produce different flavors and textures. As long as it’s aged properly, it’s fine.
Literally all I’m suggesting is nuance in policy instead of a blanket ban. Allow people to get a license or something
Home cheesemaking is way more common of a hobby than you’re making it out to be.
All pointing this out is saying is that the solution needs a little bit of nuance.

4·13 days agoHeroic games launcher basically makes gog stuff click and play but even that isn’t enough for me to really use it over steam.
What I need is a good launcher that makes the process of using different stores seamless, that works well on all my devices (heroic’s controller support is infuriating to use and doesn’t support steam)
Maybe when playnite finally gets ported to Linux

10·1 month agoWell I can’t believe there is no union, but ok
The US labor movement has been so thoroughly crushed, this is a reality for many many people. It is heavily region and job dependent though, but many states have union membership around 2-3% they just don’t exist there.
Otherwise, you’re 1000% right. The hardest part is taking the first step.
