  • I get the security aspect of it, but in my case I can’t see a reason to go through the hassle. My smart switches talk to home assistant running on my server. I want new devices to be able to access the plex server without manual config. And my server is arguably the most sensitive machine on my network, so if I can’t protect that, I don’t think it’s worth protecting anything.

    Adjusting the depth of cut is kind of a constant thing. I adjust multiple times per board depending on how much I want to take off. It takes some practice to figure out how to deal with slop. If there’s no depth wheel, it’s even more tricky with tapping










  • Not a bad idea. The hardest part I think would be getting the insulation to the right thickness to fit. Not sure how well it cuts.

    Most art probably isn’t very thick either, and 2" thick is a sweet spot because it works better at low frequencies, but isn’t excessively large
