The way a dentist explained it to me is that having it in the drinking water helps kids whose teeth are still developing and will integrate it directly into the tissue. After that, topical via toothpaste and in office treatments helps adults.

BUT take that with a grain of salt because (1) drinking water fluoride should have topical benefits too right? And (2) you should place more trust in organizations and bodies of research than a secondhand anecdote from a single dentist.

I don’t think you should switch away from Immich, this was just an “embedded in Nextcloud” suggestion. Sometimes nice to quickly glance at my photo library from the mobile app, esp if confirming uploads went through.

Totally agree. And I think it’s also compounded by Windows becoming a more hostile OS to power users. There are some shortcuts in Office based on the Menu (! Not the Ribbon !) that still work and I know it’s just a matter of time before those go away too. Really feels like the Dark Ages for PC computing (other than the side effect of the rise of Linux).

Also can I ask an ignorant question from the outside? I always thought the rainbow flag was future-proofed and didn’t understand adding other colors. The rainbow is already the full spectrum of visible light meaning you could change the messaging to include others and keep the same symbol. Thoughts?
