Just casually mixing in legitimate actual facts with the occasional batshit statement.

the desperation to paint “tankies” as genocidal is full on projection here

Yeah, my online life consists of rolling around in a tankie pit and I’ve never seen anyone defend Pol Fucking Pot. Dude was a genocidal revisionist and the majority of the funding he received from China was US money that was funneled through China for PR reasons.

It’s very telling that “Death to all landlords” and “Stalin was okay” are supposedly more egregious and less on common than saying that Russia is cool and good.

Oh, and I just reread that and it literally refers to Russian people as “warmonger creatures”. What is wrong with these fucking people? How hard is it to just be anti-war? It’s not even a difficult facade to keep up if you wanna be all libbed up about it. Just don’t openly call for the working class to be thrown into the meat grinder.

    • “warmonger creatures”

Seriously, this immediately tipped me off. It’s okay to take a position of criticism (instead of critical support) of the Russian government, hell, even of Russian overall culture, considering there’s plenty of reactionary sentiment in Russia (a product of the material conditions brought on by the fall of the USSR). But how on earth do these people feel justified in dehumanizing 200M+ people, and painting whoever doesn’t do that as an extremist?

Tankie level 70: “Labeling an entire ethnicity/nationality as ‘warmonger creatures’ is bad actually, literal genocidal rhetoric.”
