We need to extend Halloween to cover all of October, November, and December, because Thanksgiving and Christmas are awful holidays and should be destroyed. I can’t think of a better holiday for the job than Halloween.

Hot take, I like Valentine’s Day, and I think its reputation as a “Hallmark holiday” is undeserved.
Valentine’s Day has been a celebration since the 8th century. It didn’t get its association with romance until the 14th century, but that’s still old as hell.
I’m strongly in favor of an old ass holiday celebrating love. The main thing to do on Valentine’s Day is have a nice date with your partner. It’s great.
