I think banning bicycles is kind of stupid but I am fine with speed limits because you can get a regular bicycle up to 28mph without too much trouble: Take your class 3 on a mixed use path, just keep it under 20 or 15 or whatever the speed limit is. If it’s straight up not a bicycle though, that I am fine with banning.

I’d also recommend Cateye mirrors if you wanted something smaller, I have their bar end mirrors on my folder and they’re fantastic for their size!

As far as I know, it runs off it’s own battery, but you could probably connect the charger to a USB port if your bike has one. Not sure if it runs connected or not though.

Blinky lights and mirrors have been my go to, but these radars do seem pretty cool.

You just turn it off in settings, but I also run a VPN and have the permissions denied at the OS level on my phone (Android 16). On my personal computer, I only use web apps when it comes to work stuff, and on my work computer, I have all location settings turned off for OS and apps (but I am an admin and work in IT).

I’ve heard the bike infrastructure is legendary over there too, that probably helps a good amount even when it does snow.

I think it would be weird not to carry some sort of knife unless you’re flying, going to an event, or going into a government building. Hospitals don’t care if you have one unless you’re brandishing it or maybe if it’s a giant thing on a holster.
