Nothing wrong with that! Your parents got you what they could afford, and old games are still fun too.
I may be biased though. I bought a PS4 in 2015, and rarely played it. I bought a PS5 this year, and only have 2 games for it.
But my Switch? I literally made the guy on the Nintendo hotline say “Wow…I wasn’t expecting that many games.”
And honestly? I’m baffled by how I have so many games on my switch. Especially since they all seem to lean towards “These are older games from the 80s/90s, or emulate the style of those games.”
When you can shock a Nintendo represenitive, you know you have a problem.

Good is arguable… Out of all the Genesis games I had I played it the least. Toejam and Earl was where it’s at.
I STILL hum some of the music from that game! So good.

I’m sorry, a podcast I listen to has that sound bite as part of their intro. I wasn’t sure if you were a fan, “Rise from your grave” is inextricably linked with “what was that?” In my brain.
I never saw an arcade cabinet for Altered Beast and only played it in Genesis where it was kind of a shit game compared to Golden Axe.

Imagine having to go on some adventure where you sleep directly on the desert floor and it’s full of deadly hand-to-hand combat killing hundreds of people, and thinking, “I’m gonna wear my white and red bikini and red boots.”
It was the 80’s (Golden Axe released in 1989, to be specific) . It was the style of the time.
